Birdwoods Gallery is a very special place in the heart of Hawke's Bay. Set in the countryside just 3km from Havelock North Village, Birdwoods Gallery and its small companion, the Birdwoods Sweet Shop, are a 'must see' for young and old. Two historic buildings have been relocated to this pretty rural setting and transformed to become a distinctive and enchanting visitor attraction. Enjoy our famous morning or afternoon tea or come for a delicious garden lunch with family or friends. End it off with a delicious real fruit ice-cream from our little Ice Cream Shop.

An interesting place to visit. On arrival you will be tempted to visit the little Sweet Shop and make your selection from a hundred bottles of sweets and chocolate. Inside the main building we found an eclectic collection of crafts and sculptures from all over...More

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We are not a traditional gift shop, and many of our things are hand made from far flung places and of very good quality, so I guess the price does reflect this. With best wishes, Louise...More

How kind.... thank you. One of the hardest parts of running a hospitality business is keeping the standards up seven days a week, so it is good to know we are still delivering. I will pass this onto the staff. Best wishes, Louise Stobart -...More

Interesting place that combines a cafe (mushroom soup - best I have ever had) with a sculpture garden (even kids seem to enjoy this), a shop selling art and crafts, and an old fashioned sweet shop. This is a formula that works for all age...More

Of course you can as we love dogs at Birdwoods! However Council does not permit them in the Conservatory dining area, but there is plenty of table space in the garden weather permitting. Kind regards, Louise Stobart
