This little church on the shore of Sea of Galilee fronts a magical little beach made of volcanic rock. This is the site of The Miraculous catch of fish and where Peter denied Jesus three times. There are plaques and statues memorializing the events.

This is a very well kept site and has great significance. Have a good guide to explain it if you don’t know. Nice grounds and church. Won’t take long to visit - about an hour or so.

Visited by the pope this is an oasis or sanctuary recalling where Peter made his confession of faith. Beautiful green park and gardens and small church on the banks of the Sea of Galilee maker this a must for visitors.
