I loved walking around to the different gardens along with reading the interpretive signs. There are so many varied and themed gardens that the two hours I was there was not nearly enough time. If you really like spending time at botanic gardens, I would...More

We went to the Botanical Gardens in the summer. The flowers were all in bloom. It is a lovely way to spend a few hours if you are not in a rush.

This place is amazing and huge, with themed gardens such as Japanese, Chinese, First Nations, etc. Each place has its unique, uncontested charm and personality. It is really impressive the effort required to maintain and care for so many plants and special displays!

While the outdoor areas are not an option in December, the indoor areas were worth the visit. Additionally there are no crowds in December - ample opportunity to relax and move through the exhibits at your pace.
