I knew nothing about the light show until my Montreal visit, but a friend was excited to see it. As it started, I though "Meh... programmed lights. OK." But as the show progressed I was very impressed by the way the ceiling of the basillica...More

Stained glass windows that are just beautiful and an array of colorful lighting affects that dazzle. This is a Montreal treasure for anyone visiting the city - even for non-christians.

This church is magnificent. Pictures do not do it justice...you really need to see it in person to experience the true beauty and magic of this architectural gem. The 20 minute guided tour is very educational. You can also take your time and walk around...More

A very popular place to visit, we found the lines to be very long in the afternoon and evening. On the last day of our visit, we went around 8:30am and there was no line to wait. A beautiful basilica, very neat to walk around...More

This is a beautiful church, the altar is stunning, lovely stained glass, well worth the $6 entry fee. It's worth noting that it closes at 4.30pm. We arrived at 4.15 and were denied entry and had to return the following day.

So serene and beautiful. We went in a morning and were delighted to find a visiting choir from Connecticut. The sound was astounding. We came back the same afternoon for the pipe organ demonstration. Well worth 6.00 admission. Went back the next day for the...More

This is a MUST SEE in Montreal. Regardless of religious affiliation the light show is gorgeous and an artistic marvel. If you are Christian, the effects and music will bring you to a state of awe and really feel the power of Jesus.

Wonderful visit, worth a stop. Watched Aura, while we found it amazing, we felt it was too short given how much we spent. Otherwise a memorable visit

If you want to experience the Basillica, I would suggest you go to mass and hear the choir as well, instead of doing the tour they sell for the afternoon. You can read all the interesting facts by yourself instead of having... More

Guided tours are only during the day. The Aura Show is a separate time in the evening and also at an additional cost. I believe right around $25.00.
