The Basilica is beautiful. You should check ahead of time if possible for when they have tours available, particularly if you want English speaking. Also check for when they would have mass that you might attend when the organ is being played. We happened there...More

Wonderful church with a spectacular atmosphere! Light only coming from coloured glasses and little lights on the ceiling. The wood pulpit and the pipe organ are incredibile. Definetively worth the visit!

A must see! I last visited this basilica as a teenager with my family years ago. I thought it was magnificent then and my memory serves me well. Go! See! Do!

The church is much more impressive from the inside. Definitely worth a visit. Very pretty and the organ is massive.

There are crowds of course, but we waited just 5 minutes to get inside. No tour is necessary unless you want details. We walked through on our own and it was remarkable. There is another smaller chapel behind the main one with a fantastic brutalist...More

Quite a showplace, not used as a regular church too much. Wonderful for pictures. An organ concert was scheduled for the afternoon we visited. Don't miss statues outside of Brit turning up his nose at this and French madam doing same to Brit bank.

This cathedral was a special experience. The detail of the architecture inside and outside were impressive. We took a guided tour which provided the history. It is one of the highest regarded cathedrals in North America.

The most beautiful church I have seen in North America . The docents were very knowledgeable about the subject and we learned much about it. The organ was played which was beautiful. Would recommend spending a little more and seeing light show in the church....More

The Basilica is very beautiful and worth seeing, but the "tour" consisted of sitting in the pews and listening to a short lecture which explained some of the history of the building, but did not explain the many features of the ornate chapel.

some of the city's most antiquated buildings and
picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St.
Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums,
festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a
celebrated part of the city that explodes into
fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its

If you're interested in the Aura light show in the Cathedral buy online before you go. They usually sell out.
