Fun and funky area filled with restaurants, terraced, fruit market and bakeries. It is close to parliament and the National Art Gallery. Lots of young people, we saw some food trucks and visited a fabulous donut shop called Maverick.

We stopped for lunch in the Byward Market area an English Restuarant. The misters on the patio helped with the heat spell Ottawa was having. The service food and beer were great
