Not so special
Jan 2020
Small shopping mall with some empty outlet spaces but does have a very good indigo bookshop. Food mainly on the lowest level.

Indoor Shopping Area
May 2019
Cascade Shops has quite a lot of shops inside and also a good food court. There are some famous brands such as GAP, Billabong Canada Goose and some others. There is also a coin laundry. It's not very special mall but it's nice to visit .

Why are there no changing facilities for a baby?
Jul 2019 • Family
The stores are ok. Overpriced but still fun to look through.

The challenge is: where are you supposed to change a baby at this so called “mall?” We went into the washrooms at the food court and there was nothing! I asked staff at a nearby store and they advised that they didn’t believe there was anywhere to change a baby.

I ended up having to change her on the side of the sink (which she didn’t really fit at,) as my only other option was the very wet floor (no way), or a food court table (which I would NEVER do.)

Average mall with nice sculpture
Jul 2019 • Couples
The basic stores inside are more for residents than visitors, but the food court on the lower level is the real draw for tourists. There is a large abstract sculpture suspended over the food court. Certain oh worth stopping in to check it out.

Sculpture over the food court was good
Feb 2019
I wanted to see this medium-sized indoor shopping mall on Banff Avenue just for the suspended sculpture. The sculpture itself was innovative and interesting. Honestly, there weren’t any shops here that interested me. It was good to see the Dairy Queen in the food court though.

Nice sculpture in the centre
Aug 2018 • Couples
Every town centre has to have a shopping centre and this one is Banffs!
We had lunch at the Spaghetti factory and after we came out into the shopping centre. I was impressed with the sculpture in the centre which `I guess it is something to do with the Winter Olympics in the 80s?!

Our go-to spot in Banff
Sep 2018 • Couples
With a drug store, electronics store, food court, clothing stores, coin laundry, and a whole bunch of coffee shops and eateries, you can get a lot done here in small amount of time. It's spacious and friendly inside, and the washrooms are clearly marked where they are. With escalators connecting all the levels, it makes getting to all the floors a breeze, especially for people with little kids or those with mobility impairments.

Wow, so crowded with tourists, not what I expected
Jun 2018 • Family
I was wondering why I could not find a hotel room in Banff three months before our trip. Now I know why. The place was crawling with tourist buses with overseas tourists, and a traffic jam like you wouldn't believe. So glad our hotel was in Lake Louise.

Quite ordinary, though better than some others
Jun 2018 • Couples
Had cause to visit on a couple of occasions but apart from a useful pharmacy and laundromat, saw little to enthuse about. And, rather disagree with others’ assessments of the food court whose outlets were low end run of the mill.

Main Shopping Centre , Banff

Banff is a very touristy town with little variation in what the stores sell. Nearly all the products are made in China, except the jewellery, which features Ammonites, rarely seen outside North America.
Cascades is a small multi storey mall in the town, not very different from anywhere else in fact. If you want anything in Banff, bring it with you!
