The two young men running the small bar at kaminia beach are beyond professionals. Me and my family and friends met them the night before outside a restaurant and they promised to book a couple of umbrellas and beach beds. The small beach bar there has a small but amazing variety of food all good quality, for a beach bar, but outermost of all, the professionalism when he comes to service from the owners is what one would expect in Greece.
Without doubt it was the friendliest place I've been in kefalonia.

Among those we visited, this beach is for us the best!
Very long beach, very equipped and with a very large area of free beach all sandy.
Clear and clean water, it never gets too high and this allows you to move freely without problems.
The price for two sunbeds and an umbrella is 20€ at the Tartarooga Bar. This is also very slept and with average prices. You can order drinks directly from your umbrella. It is also very nice to stop for dinner by the sea!
Parking both inside and on the beach.
Shower and bathrooms present.

Beautiful and long beach with fine sand, sloping sea, water nothing short of splendid for clarity. Few people, quiet. The hotel provides umbrellas and deck chairs (for a fee) and use of showers, bathrooms, swimming pool free of charge. There is also a bar/restaurant, a bit spartan. Excellent and very nice panoramic restaurant Anemos nearby.

We love it quietly, without sound and without water sports. We love the sea and its shades and good food. You get all that here. The very quiet part is to the left after the steep driveway and belongs to the restaurant Animos - with associated beach bar. Great service, homemade lemonades and iced teas. Shaded seats and a lounge.
The beach falls very flat into the sea and you can walk about 150 meters into the sea! Ideal also for children.
The highlight is the Anemos Restaurant. See the reviews that are all highly deserved. In know few beaches with beach bar and restaurant in this quality. That doesn't mean it doesn't give you too! Maybe the IONIO in Vassilokos on Zakynthos.
We'll come back here too. D A N K E for all the honest warmth and service in this quality.

August 2024, the only beach we did not find crowded. The morning is beautiful, crystal clear water, calm sea. For my taste, a little too low and warm, but the family enjoyed it. For snorkeling, little to see ... moving away, the seabed is sometimes with rocks, breaks a little 'the sandy monotony, but still there is not much. In the afternoon, however, the wind picked up, constant strong. You need an umbrella that can hold the wind. The sea has risen, not much but the water has become cloudy. However you spend a day at the beach, without crowds.

Very shallow turquoise water, very suitable but for families. The beach itself is beautiful. About 3 km long, it offers solutions for all tastes, equipped or free or in a very wild stretch even for nudists. It is also one of the nesting places of the Caretta caretta. Personally the part I preferred is the beach in front of Tartarooga beach, equipped with 2 sunbeds and umbrella for 15/20 euros.

Beautiful, very beautiful!
Umbrella for 11€, 2 well-served bars, arrangement of clean toilets, sand and crystal clear sea water that gradually descends.

Our favourite beach in the South so far. Not too many people, beautiful beach and water, cheap sunbed sets, turtle nests, and a good (if pricey) taverna too. Good for couples or amigos as well as families

Sandy beach still wild. Very often very windy. And sea with waves and strong current. There are some umbrellas, but no showers or changing rooms. Here the careta careta turtles nest (reported with species of reed huts). Very nice place. Don't go to eat at the nearby restaurant, expensive and bad food

Nice beach, got taxi from skala which was €15 each way!

Was quite busy for the time of year, sea shallow so you can walk out for a long way.

Sunbeds were €11 for 1 person... The most expensive I had paid on my solo holiday!

Made a nice change though for a different day out on the beach!
