Beautiful and long beach with fine sand, sloping sea, water nothing short of splendid for clarity. Few people, quiet. The hotel provides umbrellas and deck chairs (for a fee) and use of showers, bathrooms, swimming pool free of charge. There is also a bar/restaurant, a bit spartan. Excellent and very nice panoramic restaurant Anemos nearby.

Our favourite beach in the South so far. Not too many people, beautiful beach and water, cheap sunbed sets, turtle nests, and a good (if pricey) taverna too. Good for couples or amigos as well as families

Sandy beach still wild. Very often very windy. And sea with waves and strong current. There are some umbrellas, but no showers or changing rooms. Nice beach, got taxi from skala which was €15 each way!
Was quite busy for the time of year, sea shallow so you can walk out for a long way.
Sunbeds were €11 for 1 person... The most expensive I had paid on my solo holiday!
Made a nice change though for a different day out on the beach!

I'm not sure about this year but in previous years it's been possible to get there by water taxi.
An ordinary taxi will take you there as well.
Public transport would get you to Razakli and then you'd have to walk down the hill. It's step in some parts, and in typical Greek fashion bends around a lot, so it will be further than you think.
When we started going to Katelios there was "the blue route" that went from katelios, across Aghia Barbara and then over the rock to Kaminia. It is apparently still possible, but not as well defined as it used to be. It got it's name from little pieces of blue plastic bags that were tied to the bushes. I'd check with the locals how passable it is now, but be warned you'd need footwear with good ankle support.
