My 8th trip or so with Whale Watch Cabo. every one has been exceptional in many regards. They follow the correct protocols for observing whales...and trust me the other tours in the area mercilessly hound any whale they see. I could post photos of another company and their contempt for the health of the whales...instead I will complement Lisa and Enrique on their genuine care and concern for the many whales we observed. Their knowledge far surpassed the tour we took with another local "Adventure " tour. Although I have been on several tours with Whale Watch Cabo, i never fail to learn something on each succeeding tour. I have to give this group my highest recommendation, always returning home with wonderful photos and a new appreciation for Whale Watch Cabo!

This was by far the experience that I was most looking forward to in Cabo, and it did not disappoint. We went out on a Saturday morning (8am) whale watching tour with Sandra and Captain Santos. There were only four of us plus Sandra and Santos, which worked out great to be able to have some space while on the tour. We were welcomed and given a brief introduction to the day. Once we were on our zodiac we went through the harbor, where you see some absolutely amazing boats and yachts. As we got further out, Captain Santos took us along the coast where you can see some of the famous beaches and rock formations around Cabo. Then we headed out to see if we could find some whales. I was a little worried because we were pretty late in the season, but we had heard that there were a lot of whales still around. Sure enough, within 10 minutes we were following behind one of these amazing animals. There were two things I appreciated about this tour in addition to the whales. First, I truly appreciate that Captain Santos and Sandra followed the rule and gave the whales their space. I can't imagine how stressful it would be to spend my days swimming around with 20 boats right on my tail. Whale Watch Cabo was very professional in how the work and respect the animals we are trying to enjoy. Second, I loved that Sandra was just as excited every time we saw a whale as we were. She had been guiding for 4 months and she said it never gets old. Her passion for the whales comes through and made us enjoy the time even more. During our tour we saw 4 or 5 whales, plus a mother and her baby. It was an unforgettable experience. We even had one whale do a huge tail slap that demonstrated how large these whale are. The added bonus is that Sandra takes photos the entire time of the tour, and Whale Watch Cabo sends them to you for free after the tour. It was so nice to be able to put my phone down and just enjoy the experience. I would highly recommend Whale Watch Cabo if you are looking for a professional tour that shows these amazing whales the respect they deserve. Thank you Sandra and Captain Santos! I will never forget this experience...

What a great day! Our guide, Lisa, was extremely informative and fun to listen to as we learned a lot while also seeing a lot! Our captain was great and made sure we got to see as much as we could. We saw so many whales, which was absolutely thrilling, and we also saw a sea turtle and a sea lion cruising around in the harbor. We had an incredible experience! Another huge bonus is that Lisa was taking photos with a high-end camera with a big zoom lens, which are sent to you after the trip. This is wonderful because not only are the photos a zillion times better than you'd get with your phone, it frees you up to just enjoy the search and the time on the water.

Well that is the sort of praise we love to hear! Thanks for sharing your experience with other Trip Advisor users and telling your friends about us. We include all the tour photos for FREE to our Guests - we know this means our Guests can relax and enjoy the tour, knowing they will have great photos via DropBox in a few days! We have found with our unique approach to encountering whales that the whales behavior are more natural and the encounters typically longer, with better viewing and photography opportunities for our Guests. Thanks again for choosing Whale Watch Cabo - wishing you many more amazing whale encounters.
