Evans is a man clearly passionate about sharks and is dedicated to changing the image of sharks from mindless eating machines to magnificent apex predators that are extremely valuable to the ecosystem that have no interest in messing with humans. He spends a lot of time and energy in ensuring an amazing experience. I was fortunate on one trip to see a mating aggregation of over 100 silky sharks! That same trip there was a scalloped hammerhead, tiger shark, and an oceanic manta ray that swam by! Unbelievable biodiversity! It is nature and of course all encounters are not guaranteed. I highly recommend booking multiple excursions with him to increase your chances of seeing a variety of ocean life. He also was able to convince my shy 12 year old daughter to get into the water which is no easy feat. He also runs multiple different types of expeditions and can customize trips to folks interest. One example is that we didn’t have lucky finding any large aggregations of mobula rays therefore on the spot he organized an overnight trip to La Paz. I already look forward to enjoying more expeditions with him!

One of the best experiences I've ever done! It seemed a bit daunting, but the team completely put me at ease, answering all my questions and making me feel safe during the experience! It's amazing to see these beautiful creatures as they should be... wild & free. A must for someone looking for a once in a lifetime experience!

Whoa...two of the most amazing days I have had in the water! Lucky to see both blues and makos. Can't say enough good things about Evans and Gabo as guides, they are great, super professional, extremely aware in the water, and as a company customer-service is just great. Recommend this to anyone! Even if you have to put up with Captain Miguel's music-tastes haha (kidding)

This is quite possibly the best interactive experience I've ever had. This is not a watered down, resort tainted experience. Evans is a world class shark expert who is super knowledgeable and passionate about pelagic animals and will fill you with as much information as you can handle. It's difficult to put into words what swimming with sharks is like but I highly recommend it to anyone who is comfortable in the water. My wife was tentative about the idea at first but absolutely loved it and now has a better understanding of sharks and a special affinity for them as well. Evans will teach you that most of what you think you know about sharks (that you likely saw on Shark week) is inaccurate and false. Sharks are super curious and although they are apex predators, you are not on their palate. I cannot give enough accolades to Evans and the Baja Shark Experience!
