A shampoo brand called Tahiti shot a commercial film here, so I guess this must be the most tropical waterfall in Portugal.

Beautiful place to go near Gerês. The access is not easy so prepare yourself to be very cautious during the descend. The rest is just amazing: very cold water and close to the nature. Can be over-crowded during weekend and in August and that's a...More

This no-more-hidden gem is nature on its best. Although is completely full of tourists and has no longer a quiet atmosphere. Getting down could be a challenge to our athletic skills

Fantastic waterfall pools to actually swim in! But be careful as there are very slippery bits under the water. Well worth the effort.

Definitely, this is the most beautiful waterfall in the Peneda-Geres National Park, but no easy access. You will need to trail down to the main lagoon area, through a stone path, scrambling over very slippery rocks and then through a tricky path down the side...More
