Geres mountains are beautiful and this is one of the spots worthwhile. Lush with roads in pretty good condition all around the mountains.

Check first if there is water, if is dried up there is not a big point in comming just for this. Cascada do Tahiti is very close and should always have water.

You have a drive up a winding road then best to park and walk an easy 1km to the waterfall. A very pleasant visit.

This is a fair way up into the National Park, the last 1 km is on an unsurfaced road. The location is isolated and spectacular. The waterfalls are not that high - perhaps 20 metres - but there are good hiking and rock climbing opportunities...More
