The Flight 93 memorial is a work in progress. It is a nicely constructed site. The road signs to the area are sparse and the surrounding town is just now developing food and accommodations. The sight itself is in a national park and access is...More

The small chapel, itself, has some interesting displays and the volunteer, who conversed with us, shared information that we had not received at the Flight 93 Memorial. The United Airline Crew Monument, in the side yard of the chapel, is impressive and eye-catching with the...More

I’ve been to the Flight 93 Memorial several times since 9/11, and it always inspires me. The people on that flight sacrificed their lives to protect what would have undoubtedly been another hit either on the US Capitol or the White House. The surrounding scenery...More

I REALLY wish they would offer directions to THIS site at the "official" 9/11 Memorial ... would have loved to have seen this as it has a "religious" connotation to it. When I go back, I will definitely devote time to this other site.

There are three parts to this memorial. The first is a tower near the entrance that should be completed in the fall. From this point, drive on to the Visitors Center. As you walk in from the parking lot, note the trail of black stones....More

on our way back from a Washington DC trip we stopped at the Flight 93 Memorial Chapel. It is truly an emotional experience. One can only imagine what went through the minds of those who were on the flight
