Bit pricey because you have to go with the guide but totally worth it. The formations in the caves, above and below the water are simply amazing. The water is fresh, clean and soft. Beautiful place to admire mother nature.

I visited Grand Cenote and enjoyed it, and as I may never got to Mexico again I thought it was worth going to another cenote. I was going to try Dos Ojos, but this was recommended to me and I'm so glad I went. As per other reviews, this is a guide only site. You take an hour long tour... More

Very cool underground cenote. The water was cooler than the beach, but it felt refreshing. Crazy to think that people explored these during Mayan times. Best to go on a Tuesday or Wednesday when it won't be too crowded.

One of the best cenotes I have been to! It's so beautiful and the water is crystal clear. I love how there are both covered and uncovered parts giving you the experience to see the caves in both light and dark. Our tour was amazing, our guide was very knowledgeable and made it FUN! Highly recommend! If you are staying... More

I have nothing to compare it to, and I wasn't incredibly pumped about the cenotes, but I knew we needed to do one!! At Sac Actun, it was a legit cave, amazing to see how deep it went when snorkeling around. However, it was also not too difficult to swim/walk from one cavern to the next. There were small bats,... We had considered different cenotes to see while staying in Akumal, but had this one recommended to us by the taxi driver who we used during the week. He told us it was one of the less crowded locations, and that was definately accurate. We had a tour of the cenote with 2 other people, so it almost felt like... More

This swim/snorkel trip was one of my favorites. The water is clear. The tour guide was funny and knowledgeable. Don't miss when in Tulum.

Got a cab from hotel zone. Cost $65 USD round trip. Our driver waited for us. Seems expensive but I guess that's how Tulum is (our first time). Maybe you can try to get it for less. We read some reviews that said you had to walk 5km after drop off, but our car drove right up to the cenote.... More

Sac Actun was recommended by our taxi driver, Joshua and were we grateful! We were originally going to go to Dos Ojos, but Joshua recommended Sac Actun - so glad we took his suggestion. It's about a mile or two past Dos Ojos and felt like you were never going to get there from the main highway, but when we... More
