Chichen Itzna is super easy and safe to get to by rental car, ADO bus or tour bus. The entrance price is reasonable and the site is not too crowded. Wear comfy shoes, sunblock, bug spray, hat. No swimming in cenote so dont wear a...More

Incredible and spectacular place. So interesting and we had a very good guide who knew the place backwards. You just can’t fail to be impressed by the ingenuity and incredible engineering talents. But there are so many traders lining the entrance and exit and so...More

We visited Chichen Itza as part of an excursion from our resort (Princess Riviera). Our excursion went from 7am to 7 pm. It's about a 2.5 venture from the Playa del Carmen area by bus. I want to say we got there around 10ish and...More

Visited a few years ago with a tour guide. The actual ruins were very impressive but you had to run the gauntlet of tourist tat to get to and from the ruins. Would recommend.

Roads are great. Traffic moves very quickly. We have rented cars two different times and had no issues. We have traveled throughout the Yucatan and it has been a great experience.
