About
Coco Bongo is one of Cancun’s best nightlife spots which will wow you with its unique line-up of shows and entertainment. Catch spartans performing stunts during ‘300’, sing along to classic hits during ‘The Beatles’, or marvel at a light show during ‘Queen’—complete with confetti and balloons falling from the ceiling. It’s Las Vegas meets Cirque Du Soleil at its very best, but with an open bar. Coco Bongo Cancun is conveniently located in the heart of Hotel Zone. Regular tickets are for standing only; for a seat, snag a Gold Member Pass or Front Row Pass. – Tripadvisor

Great night out. 9 of us aged between 21 and 59 enjoyed the entertainment. We paid GOLD VIP and had a fantastic view, front row high up so we missed nothing. Our server kept the drinks flowing. Shame some of the women in the club feel they need to strip off for attention on camera knowing they’re on the big screen. We had one annoying woman who just kept going back up on the podium and eventually took off her bra and skirt. This isn’t what we paid for and unfortunately it spoilt the whole experience.

Crazy show ,!!! overpriced but fun .
part Cabaret , part aerial acrobatics, part cirque de soleil, part dance, part costumed play acting!
Spectators are encouraged to take part in a dance off twerking dance off show . on a big screen
Also in the beginning is a
a small floor stage with girls and guys dancing to a giant video screen of music videos. mayhem! confetti blasts , loud blasts !
Then a higher upper stage with Cabaret dancing to popular old musicals .
pretty confusing lol. drinks are included and it was packed !!! 155$ if you want a stool
to sit on !
only need to go
once i think!!! we left early! lol

This place was located four doors down from the Krystal grand and viewed right accross from our balcony. After forty eight hours solid of nonstop horn blowing, fireworks, thumping, shouting , yelling, cat calling, whooping and often mega horn swear word music we walked down to see where all this hours of continued torment was coming from. What we saw was an expensive crowded place. Shame on you for having your establishment in a place that has affected so many guests in the hotels around you with lack of sleep for days on end. You guys should have put this place somewhere in the jungle Far away from everything. Instead of terrorizing people trying to be on holidays...at least close down at a decent time, so people can get some sleep...like are you kidding me

We stayed at the Rui Hotel and was approached by a gentleman called Jack around the pool. He definitely miss sold this to us saying we would have a table and be seated, drinks as we would like eith a bottle of choice on the table and a good view, with live music. The place was so busy the table got knocked and had to hold drinks. The seats was a dirty concrete step. We had 3 drinks and when we was asked what we wanted the barman came with something else. When i said it was not our drinks i was ignored. There was so many people it's not safe, if there was a fire no getting out. Not worth what was paid I would avoid

It aligns totally with my overall Mexico experience, but it was on top with a lot of distance to all other activities where I felt ripped off the absolute worse one. I bought already the most expensive ticket available to avoid any additional costs and get a reserved seat for the show. Before entering people were super nice and we got already some drinks on the bar for free. After entering with our Gold wristbands, we found out that there are no reserved seats only bar stool so far away from the stage that you won’t be able to see anything. But a nice lady came around to sell us much better places if we only buy a bottle of cheap tequila for another $150. I guess it is the only place on earth where you buy two tickets for a show with open bar for $314,65 and they seriously sell you more alcohol for $150. Therefore, we get a small round bar table and a “seating place” in front of it. The seating you can totally forgot about it as the club was totally overcrowded later. Our waiter once asked before the show what we drink and then constantly brought the same stuff. The quality of the drinks is extremely poor, and you will suffer from it even if you are not drinking much. Within the show it got so crowdy that were constantly got pushed off the table by other people trying to sneak in to the place as the special area we paid so much for wasn’t separated. Normally the waiter was responsible to push the people back the people, but he was understandably also overwhelmed because of the very bad organization of the event. As we had to fight for our place the whole time and had to be careful that people don’t flip our table with all the drinks on it we couldn’t see the show calmly. But this wasn’t so bad as the show doesn’t offer very crazy special stuff, some acrobatics are impressing but overall, it was not super spectacular. But maybe I’m just spoiled from the cheaper prices over here in Europe as you can see big worldwide known musical shows for less than $464,65. For example Moulin Rouge in Paris with Champagne costs 270€ or Lion King in Hamburg for 233,98€ for two persons with a real seat place from which you really see the show without getting pushed around.
If you are reading this and you are not already in Mexico, I would totally recommend you make a nice trip somewhere else, were you are not constantly ripped off and treated bad. But if you are already there, I can only hope for you that you won’t book this leader in ripping you off.

Overpriced and badly organised!
£500 for gold VIP , arrived and they just dumped us in the corner and started serving other people. we had no seats which we paid for, complained a few times and finally got seated at the other side with no visibility of the stage, and an angled view of the screen.

Food included? HA! 4 chips and cheap hotdog, awful! constant tipping despite paying a huge amount to be there,

Shows were great! really great, but little of it, in-between acts, they just had drunken idiots dancing on the podiums and shown on the screens, didn't pay for that!

Music and entertainment was good, just the service, cost and seating wasnt worth it, they just cram as many people in as possible to get the maximum money out of people.

It was a good night out. Don’t think of the Coco Bongo Show as high quality acrobatic show. It is more a party atmosphere with some light hearted entertainment. Not very serious. So if you want to go out for a night of drinking and want to be entertained this venue is for you.

Tickets, I wouldn’t bother with Gold or VIP tickets. They are much more expensive and the only thing you get more are dedicated seats if you are lucky. Inside everything is so chaotic that everyone is getting the same drinks. Make sure to tip your waiter and you will always have a full plastic cup 🤣.

This is more like a night club than a show. I was there with my girl friend on a Friday night. Doors are open at 9pm, but we came close to 10pm. Got in very quickly and took a drink from the bar. Show started at 10pm and was finished around 1 am. We stayed another 2 hours for dancing and yelling the songs before leaving.

It was a fun “classy” night 🤣. Similar to the establishments you would find in Mallorca Spain.

We were there due to my cousins, they had been
here before, all four of them strongly recommended! So we went, we enjoyed every second!
The entrance fee is negotiable, depends on the day in a week! Also the skill of bargains!
The show was phenomenal, epic music, gorgeous dancing team! The vibe keeps almost everyone moving the body on beats! Variety of music from 60’s to now, from Michael Jackson, queen to Shakira……
The first time experience dancing club to me, amazing, exciting, unforgettable experience!

The people selling the tickets are scam artists, they promise you VIP Zone 1 for $ 1176.00 yet charge your credit card with Zone 3 $ 2353.00, we didn't attend fearing how we would be treating for arguing over what the put on our credit card.
Don't trust them.
