This denote was recommended to us. It is not too far south of Playa del Carmen on the main road to Tulum . Parking is quite restricted but we arrived quite early. There are plenty of places to sit on the rocks amongst the trees....More

Total spur of the moment thing we did I and loved it. Took a cabe and stayed for about an hour. Beautiful clear clean water, cool and refreshing. Highly recommend.

Lovely cenote, open to the sky, shallow refreshing water, very quiet compared to some of the bigger cenotes. We mostly saw local families with their kids, not busloads of tourists. The changing rooms are tiny and minimal. I didn't see a snack bar or gift...More

We visited this cenote as the first stop on our private tour. My two boys, husband and myself. My boys loved jumping off the small cliff/ledge. The water was chilly and crystal clear. This was our first cenote we visited ever and it was a...More

We selected this tour with our Princess Cruise and it was SO MUCH FUN. Our tour guide made it even more fun for us. We visited 4 Cenotes, each uniquely different. One you zip-lined out to the center and drop into the water - so...More

Tourist trap, fake photos, you have to pay for entrance to see if its worth it, once inside its a disappointment. Rude staff.

We had a lovely afternoon with our 2 kids. Clean, beautiful, not too crowded and easy to reach from Playa del Carmen

We must have lucked out when we visited Cenote Azul because it was not crowded at all. Went on a Wednesday pretty early in the morning (9ish I think?) and the weather was overcast. Saw tons of fish, including the little feet nibblers that make...More
