This museum is world class and gives a great insight into the history of the civilizations. Presentations are excellent and although we had our own guide there were guides available at the museum to assist. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit and certainly the information received there...More

I have to go back to this museum. I only saw the Mexica and Maya exhibits as we had little time. Both were very good. I will probably ask for a personal guide as there is much to learn.

The sheer volume of artefacts and the historical and cultural journey you take in during a visit is truly awesome. Quite aside from the magnificent architecture and symbolism of the structure itself, the contents are simply mindblowing.

This is probably one of the top ten museums in the world, if not the top five. It is also recognized as a architectural wonder, particularly the fountain. Eat in the restaurant. The buffet is one of the best. Don't miss the gift shop.

There is a lot of history and this tour was great. I would suggest even starting at the opposite end and work your way to the beginning.

We pretty much spent the day working our way around this two storey building. Really interesting with a good mix of art and history. Restaurant was a little expensive and very limited but to be expected as this is the norm in most tourist attractions....More

I felt bored after the first 10 minutes. It’s the same stuff over and over and frankly just like any other history museum. Cost is cheap and the facilities are clean.

Had a great time exploring the exhibits. I was in the museum for probably 4 hours and left only because I was getting hungry!

I believe this museum is a must stop for every visitor to the capital. The museum is housed in a large, modern, interesting and unusual building. It is dedicated to the development of various indigenous Mexican civilizations, however, the first one or two exhibitions halls...More

Yes. Most of the museum is wheelchair accessible. In fact, there were many physically challenged people touring the exhibits as there was a competition in the city for para-olympic athletes.
