Very nice theater building with lots of restaurants around. I have been there with my wife for a jazz concert. The furniture is not great and is harming the acoustics somehow, but still great.

This theater was quite interesting to see inside. It is still in use, and is quite impressive. Worth the visit during the day/evening for a self-guided tour, or for an event (which we did not go to).

Opening hours have changed to 5 to 8 pm, but even so the doors didn’t open until 5:10, keeping us waiting outside. The male guide was vague about who would be the guide, but eventually he conceded to give the tour. Entry into the inner...More

Beautiful, spectacular, long awaited return of the symphony. Tonight is a sold out crowd, so exciting when the musicians return to Guanajuato! And, the beautiful Teatro Juarez.

The exterior of this building, very Porfirio in style, does not promise a lot, but the interior is splendid. Early 19th century and neo-Moorish, but I think the designers were on speed, it is so over the top. It is open to visit even if...More

Find a few minutes to step inside this theater which will take you back to the golden era of live theatre. The theatre is open to the public ( for a few pesos). Check the hours for times. We were told only the finest theatrical...More
