You have to get a longtail from Ao Nang to visit Railay and Phra Nang but it’s worth it as they are stunning beaches. Quite busy though, which is a little off putting but I guess if it’s a nice beach people will flock there!

As we stayed in Ao Nang, we got a long tail boat to West Railay for a day out. There are regular signposts with overview of the area. The walk from West Railay beach to PharaNang Cave beach took about 10 minuets on a nice,...More

Very nice beach with small hike from water to cave! There is boat market so dont eat at restaurants, support small business! To get there - take long tail boat from Aonang or just walk from Railay.

Views that will take your breath away, friendly people, bars and shops among hotels. Great place to go kayaking. Despite rain season weather was excellent-so sun filter is a must!

If you want a nice beach for swimming and sun bathing I would recommend this beach. Great Activities, such as rock climbing, in the nearby area as well.

Pranang cave is very interesting, not so big, but very picturesquely. Relief is stunning. Beach is wonderful, so clean, green and warm water. White sand!

Definitely the most beautiful beach at Krabi. There have so amazing caves on the edges of the beach and many piqturesques places. In my opinion best way to go there is straight from Ao Nang beach by boat or just walk from Railay beach to...More

Very beautiful place, interesting, cheap transport to get there. Kayaks are about 200 baht to rent, snorkels 150.

Hey Shahira, when I went on this trip there were lots of kids from ages 2-15ish! The boat ride can be a bit bumpy and also it can be a bit tricky going in and out of the boat. Other than that I think its fine for your kids... More

you can arrange for the tour boat to depart at 7.30am or 8am. You might need to pay for the whole boat if there are no other passengers and you are in a hurry.

I was there in May, and the locals mentioned that July is slow season so you should be good :) in May there were people but not overly crowded.
