So close to Auckland CBD yet a world away. Great location on the coast and accessible from Puhoi Canoe hire. Orewa close for any forgotten essential items (for picnic etc).

This is a very pleasant place for a picnic, lots of trees for shade and parking, and it's safe for younger children to play in the shallow waters as well.

Great place to relax with peaceful walks and hike track. Walking around the flat areas of the park and beach is fairly easy and relaxing. The hike is a little tougher especially at the start of the tracks but worth the view when you reach...More
