Lovely estate, good house to look round. Children like the farm. Restaurant busy lunchtime serving reasonable hot meals and light bites, farm cafe not very good. All cars have to display a parking ticket, even members, and then walk often quite a distance back to...More

The reason that I did not give full marks to this venue is that I wish that the cafes could sharpen up on the cleanliness for their cutlery. We often visit Wimpole Estate either just for a walk or a look around the house -...More

The cafe at Wimpole has gone downhill. Visiting on a Sunday at 2 we found none of the tables were clean and the staff were not interested in cleaning them, tasteless cheese scone, and a broccoli and filo pastry wrap where the broccoli had been...More

We really enjoyed the extensive gardens. Even on a sunny weekend it was large enough not to feel crowded. The story of the house was interesting with friendly guides. Families were enjoying the farm and there are walks around the extensive estate.
