We did a two day kayaking trip with Sea Kayak Adventures in Queen Charlotte Sound. It was brilliant. Our guide was unbelievably knowledgeable about all aspects of NZ (history, wildlife, marine life, trees, etc), and an excellent kayak leader. This company will go out of their way to customize the trip and help in any way possible. I could not... More

An awesome 2 day mountain bike trip along the Queen Charlotte Track and a lovely overnight stay with Noelene "the universal grandma" who greeted us with freshly baked scones!! These guys were incredibly helpful in making a trip which suited us. They went above and beyond, even helping us with our next few days of travel. Cannot reccommend them highly... More

We had a great guided trip with Sea Kayak Adventures in Anakiwa. Their guides know SO much about the area. They stick to the coastline so it feels very safe and there's so much to see. Fun day and the kids loved it. Next time we'll do it as a couple and stop off at Davies Bay with a picnic... More

We wanted to squeeze in one last activity before heading to the North Island.. On the way to Picton we stopped off at Sea Kayak Adventures for a morning paddle.. Amazing morning, Nat was our guide, she was great.. We felt very comfortable and confident on the water, lots of fun and amazing scenery.. Good times.. Would recommend to all..

Had a wonderful trip in November 2012. It was booked by Active New Zealand (the sea kayaking option on their Rimu trip) and included an afternoon paddle to our lodge accommodation, a full day of kayaking the next day, overnight at the lodge again, and then a morning paddle to Picton. My husband and I found our guide, Aaron, to... More

We did the combined kayak/Queen Charlotte Track walk - kayaked out to Mistletoe Bay and walked back. Everything was well organised and Aaron and his team were friendly, helpful and professional. One of us was a first time kayaker and we were in a doubler kayak (know as a 'divorce boat' but we were well briefed which put us at... More

Great company, very accomodating , very careful that we were well informed and equipped for any eventuality. We did our last day of the QCT by independent kayak. It was excellent. Wonderful birdlife, seals and beautiful vistas. Thanks.
