Great ruins set on a hill with amazing views of Arran and beyond. Surrounding ground has a swingpark and picnic tables. Quite a steep walk up and uneven ground around the ruins, wear sensible footwear.

It was most disappointing to visit what used to be a favourite memory. You can no longer get anywhere near the castle !

nice for a ten minute stroll, unfortunately fenced off nowadays for safety reasons so no access to the public. good views of ardrossan and saltcoats

Nothing much to look at. Mostly dog walker's & Junkies. Good view from top of the hill. Play park at the top.

We passed by here many a time when in the area, we know it's old but why would you recommend this place to anyone completely baffles me.the surroundings are nice and relaxing,though. with lovely views.
