a definate must stop to see. beautiful view, a chance for a hike if you want and history lesson all rolled into one.
The closest point to England you get a great view of the White Cliffs of Dover here.
Beautiful views of the English Channel and coast weather permitting. Car parking easily accessible, with plenty spaces and free. Pathway to the cap well posted and wheelchair/buggy friendly. Well worth visiting even if the weather is poor.

Cap Gris-Nez is a great place to visit for walking/hiking and seeing the beautiful view of the coast. There is a large map that tells you about the trails and the path is well-built. It is a very short distance to the look-out right on...More
Gorgeous place to have long walks and enjoy the beauty of nature. When weather permits you'll have a very clear view of the English coastline with it's white cliffs. Near the lighthouse you'll find a viewing platform with lots of information about the history of...More

We first went to cap blanc nez, the site has a white stone-beach and white cliffs. Afterwards we went to cap gris nez which is a big difference. There are 3 look-out points, but you can not really go on a beach as there is...More

Well worth to spend at least a lengthy afternoon.
