Went to Princess Cays with Carnival Cruise Line. First visit to the island. Rented a clam shell, rented water chairs.....both were a must! Only negative was the rocks/pebbles just as you walked into the water. Didn't use swim shoes but didn't have any cuts or...More

The staff on this island were very friendly. Everything was a long walk from the tender port. The picnic was average and the shelters were crowded and finding a place to eat was difficult. The island was pretty though.

We were here in late September 2018. We each have our own likes and dislikes, of course. If I ever return to Princess Cays on a cruise I will opt to enjoy a day on shipboard without the hassle of visiting the beach. It is...More

first time on Princess Cruise line. The ship was older, the pools were small, the food was not that good. Some of the food was just bad period. The driver is are expensive. Princess cay is a private island, pretty but nothing really there.

You can do both- They do have excurshions that take you to different parts of Islands or you can rent snorkle gear and venture out as far as you want to. The depth can be misleading because of how clear the water is.

If you have enough time-the Island is not that big and the town is not at the port where arrive-they do have cars and taxis behind the main building as you arrive.
