The boat ride over was fun. We had a nice young man keeping us entertained and telling us facts about their area of the Bahamas. The two guides running this were so much fun to be around and very informative. They have a playful relationship...More
We were picked up at the port by small buses. There were about 30 of us. The ride to the Dolphins was approximately 15 minutes. Not very scenic. Once at the dolphin center, we received wrist bands and waited 20-30 minutes for small boats to...More
I wasn’t sure what we would be doing but I knew this company is reputable amongst divers.
We did the dolphin interaction with swim and it was amazing.
The dolphins get access to the ocean and the staff were amazing.

We all loved it. Whether you swam with them or not is was worth doing. They really cared for the dolphins and were patient with the people. I would highly recommend this activity for the family. Just a warning that you will get itchy after...More
This was an excellent experience! The guides and trainer were outstanding and very knowledgeable about their dolphins. It was so much fun to be in the water swimming with the magnificent creatures. MCM
This experience was brilliant. From the fabulous boat ride around the coast to our destination and back with all the lovely views, to the whole experience with the delightful dolphins. The staff had a great sense of humour and entertained us with their banter. We...More
I was assigned to Gumby or he was assigned to me, not sure which way that went. He could swim 10 times faster than me, but I was asked to keep up with him. Too funny, the guys helping us were a hoot. They supplied...More
I highly recommend doing this experience. The interaction with the two dolphins assigned to our group was very enjoyable. The trainers were both fun and knowledgeable. You do get soaked during the beginning of the experience, but there is time to dry while the dolphins...More
I had a great time with the dolphins experience. the staff is very professional and patient. They are willing to answer all questions about dolphins and their habitat. You must buy the picture otherwise what's the point of the visit!!! great experience.

You can book to just swim with the dolphins, but you go on a boat ride further around the coast, which takes about 15 to 20 minutes travelling time each way. It is good fun and gives you a great view of the island from the sea. On arrival depending on which experience you have booked you can either go and swim with two dolphins or have the meet and greet a dolphin experience when you stand on a platform about three feet down in the water and the dolphin comes to you for stroking and kissing. The dolphins also interact with you and perform some acrobatics for you. Either way it is a very memorable and enjoyable time.
The whole outing takes around 2 hours thirty minutes to 3 hours. I do not know if you can book directly with the attraction itself or, as we did, through unexso Port Lucaya Marketplace or presumably on a cruise ship.

We was there last month (August) and we brought our 2yr, 7yr and 9yr with us. My 2yr. did not enjoy it only because she was scared of the dolphins up close. Other younger likes her was there and some were scared, some loved it. It all depends on your child. If they love animals then Yes go for it! But if they are a bit scary like my kiddo, then you will struggle a bit as the dolphins do tricks close up. Overall we had a blast. It's up to you!
