5$ entrance fee. It’s a non profit organization. Very small walk, with not much to see aside from trees and plants. It’s nice piece of green land that I understand needs to be maintained. Very few animals present. Did not see any birds other than...More

Very informational about the plants on the island that the locals utilize for different things. A few animals that are rescues that were injured and cannot return to the wild. It is small and does not take long to walk through.

At $5 per person, not a bad deal. Place has fallen into being unkept and very few of the bushes are labeled.

This is a great place to learn about the geography and ecology of Grand Bahama. It's not a botanical garden (that's more what you will find at Garden of the Groves.) This is a conservation area, with an abundance of trees and other plant life....More

Nice visit. Informative presentation about the vegetation and animals of Grand Bahama. It is a short visit so is good for kids. It is a small venue but when combined with another excursion it works well.

This is a City Park for the education of travelers to Freeport, Grand Bahama. It shows native fauna with a few rescued, caged animals. We had a guide that escorted us on the path, and explained what to look at. I enjoyed the Nature Center

It’s a very small scale nature center. For the price, don’t think it’s worth the trip. I would equate the place to kindergarten level of nature center.

I agree that a cab would be fine. The very friendly people at Rand could call you a cab when you’re done. Given limited time, I’d go to Garden of the Groves over Rand.

There are several "private" taxi services at the terminal. Some will arrange with you for a designated time for the driver to return and pick you up and return you to the terminal. This is how we managed our trip.* I... More
