The beach here is awesome, but you have to swim a good ways out to find the good snorkeling closer to the end of the bay.

This is a great secluded beach, the road to it is in bad shape, and you definitely need a Jeep to get in there. The snorkeling is ok, we did not see anything out of the ordinary. If you get there early you will get...More

We drove from our lodging in Chocolate Hole to Little Lameshur Bay, stopping at Salt Pond Bay beach along the way. Although we didn't swim or snorkel Little Lameshur Bay, we did enjoy a stroll along the beautiful beach. One must be careful entering the...More

We knew of this beach because we've always stayed in Coral Bay, It's a great, peaceful spot, usually only 1 or 2 other cars, maybe a couple of boats moored in the bay. Watch pelicans dive for their lunch (and breakfast, and dinner). There's a...More

This is one of our favorite beaches on St. John. It took us a while to get there, as we were staying on the North Shore in Peter's Bay. However, it is well worth the drive! After the road ends, basically a jeep trail begins....More

This is a great spot to visit with young kids. There are plenty of sandy areas and very small waves. You definitely need 4wd to get there. The road is quite rocky but it is worth the trip. Little Lameshure does not have good snorkeling...More

You definitely need a 4 wheel drive jeep to get there but it's worth it. There are never any crowds due to the remote location, the bugs are not bothersome and it's got all you need for a day at the beach

If you rented a Jeep or other capable vehicle take the drive to this very out of the way beach. Short walk after the bumpy drive. Really peaceful place to spend the day. And after go to Skinny Legs and grab a great Cheeseburger along...More
