I stopped in and requested information on tourist attractions, restaurants, and how to get around. The two staff working were great, they went out of their way to provide written information and shared their personal knowledge of the island. Very grateful they were around, they...More

We stopped here to get information on all things St. John and the staff was friendly and courteous. I am sure they have answered these same questions thousands of times before, but were still enthusiastic about sharing their expertise with our group.

A topical depiction that is very interesting. Some wall explanations of the history of the island and of course slavery. Park rangers will answer questions but have never been proactive in explaining anything or “selling” the island. They get reports on water conditions around. The...More

People that work here are a direct reflection of this Gem of an Island. Very friendly and helpful. Also they offer a tour on the south side. A bus transports you to one of many trails. A hike that takes you through a magical jungle...More

This could be a goldmine for visitors but the staff working during our brief visit was not up to their task unfortunately. You really had to understand how much you could give to a visitor who is just here for a short while. Servicecourses?

This is one of the smaller visitor centers I have experienced. It is mostly a gift shop (to support the park). The staff provide information related to visiting then park, therefore this should be your starting point for your explorations.
