Go here for a quiet secluded beach - but not for the snorkeling- unless we totally missed something! The beach itself was nice - secluded and quiet. There were a few boats parked there but far away from the beach. We went all around the...More

There is parking available with a ten minute downhill walk to the beach. There is a portable toilet (an outhouse really) at the beach. The beach is exposed and there is not much shade since the hurricanes so come early if you do not have...More

On the far side of island from main town of Cruz Bay but is well worth the trip and short hike down hill to the beach. Lots of fish turtles, sting rays, eagle rays. Plus once here you can go to Drunk Bay and hike...More

This is a nice stop on the Ram's Head Trail. Nice quiet beach with great snorkeling. There is a bathroom and a vendor is set up on the road outside with drinks, etc.. Nice sandy beach. Bring your own chairs if you want one.

Fantastic, very little damage from Irma and Marie. Still lots of coral, fish, turtles, sting rays, eagle rays, and beach. It is about a 1/3 mile hike down to the beach, but well worth, one of the best snorkel areas on St John today.

This beach is accessed from Coral Bay. Take a right turn and follow around Coral bay when you get into town. If you see the skinny legs bar, you missed the turn. Several miles further you will see sign for the parking lot. The recent...More

I drove over to Salt Pond on Christmas day to find a spot to watch sunset and it didn't disappoint. It's about a 500 yard easy walk down to the U-shaped bay and the sun sets directly to the west. It's also the beginning of...More

A beautiful beach. There’s a nice hiking trail that is easy and has beautiful views. The snorkeling was great; a somewhat lengthy swim to the reef but well worth it. There’s a rock in the center that marks the gorgeous reef. We saw a couple...More

I don't recall seeing any mud at all. The bay is surrounded by white sand. You might see some hermit crabs.
