This is just another beautiful white sand beach on the north shore of the island. Snorkeling is excellent here with the reef that comes almost to shore. Lots to sea life to view.
Out of the various beaches we visited on our day trip to St. John, Hawksnest was our favorite! The sand and water were pristine. Recommend bringing snorkeling equipment to explore the nearby reefs and water. The area provides recently renovated picnic tables and shaded areas...More
We decided to go to hawksnest since there was no parking at trunk Bay on a saturday. it was pretty crowded but a great afternoon- blue skies and 80 degrees!

this is a very beautiful beach that we had our friends wedding on...the backdrop was exquisite. FYI you can get married directly on the beach for only a $25 permit from St John City Hall...
