There is some parking at Anneberg Sugar Mill. Leinster Bay Trail: So.... disclaimer, turns out we did actually find the Leinster Bay trail. We did find the tail on the Watermelon Bay side. The right side of the tail leads to the ruins. Part of...More

We've been to STJ several times but this was our first trip to Leinster Bay. It was an easy, level hike in from the Annaberg parking lot. We figured the snorkeling would be good as there were several groups already there that had come in...More

The trail is now rugged with new views. If you go take the trail to the Murphy House for a great view of Waterlemon.

The hike is easy but Leinster bay itself is nothing spectacular - you go there to swim out to Waterlemon Cay which is amazing. If you weren't going for that reason stop at Maho beach instead. I swam around Leinster Bay as I had heard...More

The hike is flat - follows along the coast. It is not sandy at all - no problems wearing traditional hiking shoes and socks. We took the trail to the end - and then started snorkeling from the rocky area southeast of the cay. Some...More

We happened upon this beautiful trail following around a little bay. It was so serene and peaceful. There was a quiet little beach where we saw turtles poking through the water. Very nice walk with a great ocean breeze.

This beach is mostly rocks and you will need to walk almost the full length of the beach to get to the small sandy portion. The bay is large though a little choppy. Annaberg ruins sit atop the cliff and Watermelon Cay sits on the...More
