Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There is no more perfect beach. The aquatic life makes for rewarding snorkelling.
The views are stunning, the sun is hot and the breezes and the shade trees make for the best day at the beach.

If visiting Grenada, a boat trip out to Sandy Island is a must !! Think uninhabited Caribbean Island with warm clear turquoise waters, white sands, palm trees with balmy temperature - get taken there and back by a local fisherman who then cooks your lunch, cuts down a couple of coconuts so you can taste firstly the water then the paste - what a way to spend a day !!!!

Simply gorgeous. The girlfriend and I walked the island and since no one else was there it was off with the bathing suits and into the water butt naked. The whole area is just gorgeous. Will be back again.

This is a really nice beach.
Nice snorkeling around the right tip.
Take the extra effort and also visit Mabouya island to the west.

Paradise found on this little island. We walked the little island and spent just an hour or so exploring it. Definitely one to visit if your staying on Carriacou. We used the water taxi from Paradise Beach club to get there. Super easy & so worth the 5 minute boat trip!

Great little island just off Paradise beach - simple boat taxi ride. The best snorkelling is to the north end of the island on the Carricou side. Lots of coral, drops off - just make sure to stay out of 'boat lane' - saw lots of fish, a turtle and even an octopus hiding out in it's hole.

Perfect sandy island adjacent to some of the best restaurants in Carriacou. Perfect yellow sand with orange and mini shells. Conch shells on one side, more sandy the snorkeling in steady waters than the other shore facing side. Recommend visits late afternoon, as there is little shade bar the odd palm.

Take a drink. An hour is enough for most people, unless an avid snorkeller.

This is my favorite place to be when it comes to soaking up the sun and enjoying a beautiful beach. I spend 3 different days on Sandy and they were all amazing. I highly reccomend getting a boat ride from Paradise Beach Club to get there. It was a super cheap $20EC if you ate at the club or $40EC per person if not. Beautiful views, super cute hermit crabs, small pools to wade in, snorkeling, palm trees, all of it!

I spent a quiet couple of hours on this attractive sand bar about 1 mile off Paradise Beach. There were half a dozen boats anchored off the shore but, apart from a local guy, had the place to myself.

We saw an enormous school of 3-4inch fish just 20-30ft ofshore in 6-8 ft of water that seemed to go on forever. There must have been millions of them. They were amazing ( mid July 2022). The snorkeling was otherwise great, even ignoring that amazing school of tiny fish. The beach was also beautiful, and there were couple land-locked shallow pools on the island. Quick, cheap, and easy to get to as a couple bars/restaurants on paradise beach have boats that will ferry to across to Sandy island for a small fee ($20-$40 EC (8-16 US) per person).
