Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This little sand spit, not far from PSV, is almost too stereotyped to believe. It is a realization of a cartoon cliche: the desert island where a shipwreck survivor is cast ashore. In place of the cartoon's conventional palm tree there is a fixed palapa as the only structure on this little island. There is absolutely nothing else.

But that's the charm.

A person should load up with sunscreen and take a cooler with liquid refreshments. You can spend several hours snorkeling, sitting on the sand, emptying your cooler contents, soaking up sun, etc. Then when you are home you can try to describe it to unbelieving friends.

We spent a week sailing from Grenada to St. Vincent and the Grenadines and back, spending the night at many locations. This night we were anchored just of the coast of PSV, and my wife and I took the dingy over to check out Mopion Island.

We had the island to ourselves, and was one of the most memorable parts of our vacation. its a most do if you are in the area.

I have a video of it on Youtube but I can't put a link, its not allowed, but google Mopion island - Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, you will probably find it or similar ones, it really lets you see just how remote and tiny this island is.

Fantastic and magical place to be on. Once in a life time visit but would love to go again. Flew to Union Island and hired a catamaran to see the little islands around there and Mopion was our favourite.

Mopion is a lovely stop off when visiting the Grenadines. Its a spit of sand with friendly fishes that swim right up to you when you are snorkeling. The water is as clear as glass and shallow enough for you to lie down in the gentle tide..
A must see in a tranquil space.

Unbelievable little atoll! We took our dingy ashore. Snorkled in the warm, calm waters on the West and South sides of the island. Best snorkling of our trip in my opinion (generally prefer BVI for snorkling of any island Windward Islands). It is so amazing to be alone on this little strip of soft white sand with one well placed palapa on it. I will never forget this day! You must go visit this little slice of perfection.

Mopion is a sand reef with one palapa on it. It is sitting between Union Island and Petit St. Vincent (PSV). Only accessible by boat. Great little unique place to visit. You can swim over from your boat or dinghy carefully over (there is reef all around it). Nice coral to snorkel by.

A must do. I love this spot. If you can go here please make it a priority. Clearest warmest, calmest swimming waters i have every seen. I loved this site and agree it is a must do. You will need a good boat captain but i will return again and again if i can.
