I recommend you visit Marigot bay for a couple hours. You can snorkel to the north of the bay closes to the rocks. It’s not deep, the waters were calm (when I was there) and great for kids. There are buoys and ropes across it...More

our taxi driver who took us on island Pitton/volcano tour stopped here so we can enjoy lunch. Its a bit pricey , but beautiful views

Marigot Bay is truly a magical place. You've got to visit, or better yet, stay at the wonderful Marigot Bay Hotel. Nothing quite like Marigot Bay in all of the carribean.

We just did a "drive by" in our catamaran on the way back to the hotel. But it was beautiful and every lively. Next time we visit, we will plan to spend more time there.

No real beaches at Marigot bay. There are some good restaurants around the resort, but you should count on bringing your own fun and night life. That’s what we did. Across the harbor from Capella resort is a little park... More

I believe it was $30 (US) round trip for the taxi and the ferry was $1. Both took $US.
