The place of music history. If you love Bob music this place is for you! The place can show you the life he lived. Can find a lot of his used materials. Place was maintained well. There was a theatre to show a short movie about him. A shop to buy memorable gifts. Should try.

Visiting the Bob Marley museum has been on the bucket list for as long as I can remember, we had a fantastic visit with an informative guide OShane, I literally had goose bumps throughout the tour, a must do when visiting this beautiful island.

Came by car, the staff watched us park up and get out, only to then be told to park the car around the other way. We did that, got back out and a man pointed and told us to get tickets. On the way to the ticket booth you pass a statue of Bob, so we took some photos. He came over and repeated for us to get tickets and so started heading over to the booth again, stopping this time by an information sign to read about Rita. He again came over, stared at us while we finished reading the sign. The last straw for him was then when someone then took a photo of the house from the sign some of us were reading. He told us to take no photos until we’d purchased a ticket, and implied we should delete the one we’d already taken if we weren’t buying a ticket. The only way to see the house is on a tour so it wasn’t like you can accidentally walk in without paying (you aren’t allowed to enter the property without being on a 90 minute tour with a dedicated guide). After the distasteful experience decided to not fund such a badly run and unwelcoming place for tourists.

The first half of the tour to trench town was a waste of time, the guide giving tour had been smoking some local stuff and out of his trolley, there was a live band there and could not hear anything the guide was trying to say. We had to have a police escort in and out off trench town, very scary, the second part of trip to hotel for lunch was great and the Bob Marley house museum well worth a visit , but would definitely not recommend the Trench town part of the tour, waste of time and money

Didn’t really know much about Bob Marley but found this really interesting. You could touch almost everything in his house as well. Guides are really good and know everything there is to know and had a sing song around the tour. Well worth the money
