Walked around the plaza, gaped at the tower. The cathedral is old and is in very good repair. The area around the cathedral has many coffee shops and places to drop in for a quick snack if you are travelling with a bottomless pit of...More

A must see as you walk past Old Havana. I walked in during mass, which still takes place regularly. Check out the Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre statue.

Definitely a spot to visit when touring Havana. Historic with the Catedral at one end where you can go inside or take a look from the tower.

When we toured Old Havana, we were given time to visit the Catedral. Good not visit taking a picture with the statue of Pope John Paul II recognizing his visit to Cuba. Beautiful church

This is a more touristy area, a beautiful old square with cafes and restaurants in the square and surrounding streets. The Cathedral is huge, very old and in decent repair. A very good place to visit while in Cuba.

Once you disembark you'll want to walk rather than take a tour. There are interesting lanes to walk along which will lead to the cultural centre of Havana. I enjoyed walking along the waterfront and the ferry terminal is... More
