The plaza is lovely, as are parts of La Habana Vieja. My suggestion is to not stop there thought. To see the real La Habana Vieja you might want to walk away from the well manicured cobblestone streets and see how some people really live.

Very grand building, free entry, a few CUC's to ascend the bell tower, only for the brave though. Great views from the top.

The church is constructed of coral. Beautiful building. You can view the inside at no charge. Not sure of the opening hours though.
