Just a convenient coffee stop in the Museum building. The Museum features local history and has a good shop with lists of local artefacts.

Very enjoyable glimpse into the local history of Mangawhai. I suggest that you don't rush this visit. Take the time to read the many pieces of information throughout the museum. Also take a seat and watch the small documentary about the 'Big Dig' . A...More

Very interesting..great for kids (and adults) to see the way people lived in the olden days. Really enjoyed seeing how the locals got together to sort out the blocked up estuary.

Well worth a visit, the lady on reception is helpful and friendly, and the museum itself is fascinating! Great selection of gifts too!

Really enjoyed this Museum worth seeing very interesting can be enjoyed by the whole family cafe attached which also was very good, staff very friendly.
