Tells the story of the Mangawhai area very well. Has historical and current content. It doesn't take long to walk through but you will leave with a great understanding of the area.

Just a convenient coffee stop in the Museum building. The Museum features local history and has a good shop with lists of local artefacts.

Very interesting..great for kids (and adults) to see the way people lived in the olden days. Really enjoyed seeing how the locals got together to sort out the blocked up estuary.
