We parked by the canal and walked along the towpath then through the woods on a circular walk. Monty the collie pup was in heaven. The paths were flat and reasonably well maintained.

Brought my nephews down here for a playa me goodness me they had a fantastic time. It's a great open space and occasional animal spotting which is fun for the kids

It's small village, but with nice structure of small town. So it's not road with houses aside, but has some center. Chirch area also quite nice. In good weather you could spent here about an hour (walking and probably some shopping).
