Well worth a visit this church overlooks the Piazza Gentili and contains some great artwork amidst spectacular architecture - and it isn't swarming with people with selfie sticks! The crypt has some amazing frescos but we all felt weird down there - hairs sticking up...More

The church is not only exceptionally pretty but also very unusual. The onion dome is strange for one, at least in this part of Italy, and the striking, ornate brick (or is it tile?) screen-like top part of the facade is also completely unlike anything...More

San Ginesio is a gem of a village set in Marche. It has numerous restaurants, shops and attractions.

I hear the earthquake was pretty bad in San Ginesio, but it might be. Ring the tourist office (0733 652 056). They should know.
