it is worth visiting as the place is very well preserved-a lot of cultural events-mostly concerts are held in the summer here-there is also a small forest around it, which is worth strolling and exploring-a must if you visit Mitilene

What a great place to visit. The views are spectacular and definetly worth the 2euro entrance fee. Do some research beforehand . But there are interesting information panels along the way. Enjoy a frappe just below the castle and admire the stunning views. Then stroll...More

Beautiful place. Very nice view. Costs 2 e for a person. No parking close to it. You need to walk there on the hill.

Old historical castle close by and over looking the town and sea. interesting ruins site to see and imagine how much the ancient Greek done..

We walked from the port and burned off 5000 calories. (It looked closer) Anyway, it was worth it and the view is also beautiful. We went down into the crypts and walked the site for another hour. Another young couple gave us a ride back...More

you must take photos or selfies :). It has an incredible view of the sea. also you can spend some tmie at the coffee shop there.
