Great lake with wakeboarding
Jul 2017 • Family
I live close to the lake and really enjoy it all summer with family and friends of all ages. I love to swim in the lake, my son enjoys wakeboarding, the restaurant is very nice and the snack shops sell salads and Burgers etc. There are showers/bathrooms and changing rooms.

Camping that has a wakepark
Sep 2016 • Friends
Very well organised and spacious camping. Has a lake in the middle of the camping and even a circle wakepark! However, wakepark is little bit overpriced... 20€ for wakeboard rental... But if you have your own equipment it's fine. Very clean and well equipped showers and toilets. We stayed here just overnight so for 4 people+tent+van we paid 27€ in total.

Caravan stay at St. Leoner See
Jun 2015 • Friends
I have visited St. Leoner See camping site several times. It is a nicely kept camping site, easily accessible from the motorway ( good to know if you have a large caravab, mine is 8.58x2.55) The campsite is part of the St Leoner See recreational area consisting of two lakes offering sailing, diving, waterskiing and swimming. The campsite is quite large with a large majority of places being permanent campers. This is however not overwhelming as the moving through crowd are in one area. The sanitory buildings are modern and clean, they are cleaned several times a day. There are two places to eat and drink on site, both offer reasonable fare without being too overpriced. If you are passing through the campsite offers places near the entrance on concrete with water and power where you can stay hooked up ready for an early start. Be aware that nearby Hockenheim Ring is a popular venue for concerts, during these, the site can get quite busy, though the crowd tends to be considderate and friendly most of the times. I recomend this site, as I have had many good times here and it us clise to many historical and cullinary sights of intrest, as well as Hockenheim Ring if you are going to a concert.
