Went to Cade's Cove on New Year's Day. Make sure you allow yourself lots of time as there are lots of little side hikes to see historical buildings and at the end there's a small village of historical buildings. We walked up to the waterfalls...More

We have driven through several times - it’s a long 11 mile drive - slow moving don’t be in a hurry - we visited this time to get to Abrams’ Falls Trail...

We went during to shutdown. It was open, but no rangers. We saw so much wildlife. We all really enjoy the nice slow ride through nature.

Beautiful park but EXTREMELY overcrowded. I have been to many National Parks and have never witnessed the amount of overcrowding as this Park has. It is hard to appreciate when your in a crowd. This park does not charge an entrance fee. I would ask...More

Cade's Cove gives visitors to the Smoky Mountains a view of life 100 years ago in the mountains of Tennessee. It's an 11-mile one-way loop through the area. We were there on a beautiful winter day with little traffic and spectacular views.

By far one of the most beautiful places to take photographs of the mountains and landscape. A breathtakingly beautiful park.

This drive is impossible to describe. The views are like no other. It does take a while, kids will need something to keep them occupied. We are older and didn’t get out and investigate any of the locations but we still saw plenty of wildlife...More

We visited Cade’s Cove Dec 29. We used a Honda Side-by-Side to do the tour. It was pretty landscape but only saw 3 does and 1 buck. Make sure you use the restroom before you get on the loop.

I always turn to trip advisor for real time guidance and as always you didn’t let me down. We allowed several hours and expected the traffic. We moved consistently and it probably took 1.5 hours to drive 11 miles. We didn’t stop at any of...More

We stayed on the main loop around the area. We stopped at the information stop at the entrance of the route and we were disappointed to learn that they charge for a map. It’s simple navigation, but would have been nice to know each area...More

Cades Cove, hands down. It’s a 20 mph speed limit, 11 mile loop through gorgeous scenery and you often see wildlife. There are also tons of historic buildings and sites to stop and see. Can’t miss this spot

LOL... no you will see bears if the weather cooperates. It is the temperatures, not necessarily the calendar that drives them to shelter. I have placed on Trip Adviser a lengthy review entitled "Cades Cove Road Tips" that... More
