Bears hibernate a bit differently in the Smokies. There is absolutely no way to predict if you will see any bears.

Since I do not know where you are staying, drive times will vary. The loop road is closed on Wednesday and Saturday until 10AM until late September to all vehicle traffic. Check GSMNP website for exact date The Fall Rod... More
