Typical National Park Visitors Center. Gift shop is a little smaller and has less selection than those at some of the other large popular national parks.

The volunteers working there are ambassadors for Tennessee. They know the area and point out the trail to Cataract Falls, a short hike away. They are some of the nicest folks you will ever meet.

Always stop here when we visit the Smoky's. Friendly, helpful, informative staff. Make sure you start here FIRST! They tell exactly how to get to the trails, waterfalls and other attractions you want to see! Definitely start here to maximize your time in the Smoky's!

Always enjoy visiting this Center. Fun and interesting (and free) facts for children and adults. Lots of information about area hiking and wildlife. Children enjoy the animals.

Yes. It is directly behind the building. It is the Cataract falls trail. Very easy walk on the trail along side a creek. The falls at the end are a bonus. You just turn around and walk out the same trail.
