We visited the information centre on our first day in the area. They not only have tourist information for accommodations and restaurants, there are good resources about the geography and natural surroundings of the area. I would not have known about the stinging tree without...More

This is an old style information center which appears to be run by volunteers so it has a local flair. They have places to sit to look at brochures and photographs and displays of the area. There is a generous display of pamphlets and brochures...More

The biggest challenge with this visitor info. centre is finding it. It is set back from the road on an intersection. Once inside, the service was excellent in assisting us find what we wanted to see.

Thanks for that feedback, and glad your son enjoyed the interactive bird screen. Lots of kids - big and small - enjoy that.

We were able to pick up the free Tamborine Mountain map as well as a stand alone South East Queensland Scenic Rim map that provided the locations of four other area Information centers! That map was invaluable. The staff were helpful and friendly.
