Really nice place to go for a walk with or without dogs! Great views of Liverpool over the estuary. Good selection of birds to see as you walk.

I've tried to compile as many places as possible to compare Eastham Country Park to, including Storeton woods, Rivacre, Stanney woods, Dibbinsdale Nature Reserve, and similar places; I've reached the conclusion that there really is nowhere quite as good for dog-walking, or even just general...More

Happily also near a couple of great pubs at the end of your walk. Sufficient parking. Also some interesting rock and tree formations, and some interesting structures (eg the bear pit - only a wooden one). Reasonable signage so you don't really get lost. There...More

A great place to walk your dogs has the benefits of public toilets ample parking 2 pubs and two cafes. Remember that the council now charge for parking!

Feels very much like an ancient abandoned forest. Beautiful scenery and lots so see, however take a flask as the cafe doesn’t seem to open for very long. Although there are pubs.

It is a lovely place to walk the dog, relax and to get a breath of fresh air. Lovely area to explore with places for children and adults alike to investigate. Wonderful area for nature to see at first hand.

Perfect for dog walkers and a family walk. Car parking available for a fee. The wood is the site of a Victorian zoo.now gone but remains of the bear pit are still visible. Wear wellies if it's wet.
