I would say walk up to the mine shrine rather than get the escalators and the steps are very nice. Even if you are not in to shrines then its worth walking up to as it has some nice views.

The main and the first part of Enoshima Shrine. The best part for me is the Benten statue. It's rare to see a goddess statue with her breast visible. Healthy. You can climb up some tens of steep steps or an escalator for nominal fee.
