About
mipig cafe is the very first cafe in Japan where you can meet micro pigs. Here at “Micro pig's house,” all micro pigs from baby ones to adult ones friendly live together, and you are a friend of them. You may want to take a nap, read books, eat some snacks etc. with your friends! Please make yourself at home and have a wonderful time! We opened the store as we wanted you to know about their talent as a pet that they originally have. At mipig cafe, we will provide a warm and cozy time to as many guests as we can so that they can feel the charm of micro pigs. There is also a floor for who want to have them as a family member, while meeting adult micro pigs. We very much look forward to your visit as their ‘friend’ and ‘family!’

- Thomas W13 contributionsSo many pigs!!!Loads more pigs than I was expecting. A cornucopia of pigs. A pig blanket if you will... It's a smallish room maybe 2-300sqft. 15-20 pigs of differing sizes. We went during the week when it was quiet and much better for it.Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 14 February 2024
- Seaside386938347361 contributionCute pigYou can interact with cute pigs! So cute! It makes you feel happy. The pig donuts you can eat in the shop are also cute and recommended. It can also be used as a cafe, and is a pig cafe where you can play with pigs for a full hour. It's also recommended for those who want to keep a pig!Visited February 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 17 February 2024
- ChrisSavageSan Giovanni Valdarno, Italy625 contributionsKawai but…It is located in Meguro, you can get there in 15 minutes on foot from the station, by reservation. The thing that seems evident, like all the things they do in Japan, is that the context, execution and presentation are well prepared. You order and go upstairs, where a horde of chewing pigs run around the room. With a blanket on you, on your legs, the piggy will decide whether to sit on your blanket or continue running around the room. I found myself with 5 of them, all very funny and one of them even fell asleep. The food arrives and the visit with the children lasts about 30 minutes, even too long. Ritual greetings and we leave. You leave with a great sense of sadness, what at the beginning is enthusiasm, becomes a thought for those creatures who are locked up in there without their mothers, objectively too small. Without being so respectable, I left there and had udon with pork, but the feeling that these poor little animals, as well looked after as they may be, are still in there, is pure sadness. Recommended as a tourist, not recommended from a sensitive point of view.Visited February 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 18 February 2024
- MaiSapporo, Japan5 contributionsVery friendly pigI felt very happy being surrounded by so many micro pigs. They ranged from really small ones to slightly larger ones, but they all liked to sit on my lap. The coffee was delicious, too! Next time I come, I'd like to try the sweets as well.Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 2 March 2024
- Abel RMiami, Florida845 contributionsYou must buy something from the cafe to interact with the pigs. Our reservation was for 30 minutes to interact with the mini pigs. The best feeling is when the pigs come sit on your lap on their own! Blankets are provided so you don't get dirty. Even though the pigs didn't look dirty. Some piglets were foaming from their mouths. I had to google right then and there because I was concerned for them. I learned that pigs can foam at the mouth in anticipation of eating.Visited April 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 23 April 2024

It was my first time using a pig cafe.
I was late, but the staff welcomed me willingly.
They say they are usually booked by Reservation, so it is recommended to go on time in advance.
Some of them were piglets and some were big, and they were very cute.
I was healed by putting my face on my leg because I was familiar.
Thank you very much.

Came on a weekday and it was easy to get a slot via reservations on its website for the afternoon. You may want to book a day in advance for earlier slots.
It's chill to visit even for solo visitor, and you will get a table by yourself. Staff will ensure every table has a chance to have the pigs on your lap.
If you do follow Google Maps, it may show you a way that doesn't lead you here as you will meet a stairs that says no access private property, so please see photo for the correct route.

My experience at mpig was absolutely delightful! As soon as I entered the premises, I was greeted by the most adorable pigs I have ever seen. Their round bodies, snouts, and expressive eyes instantly melted my heart. I couldn't help but smile at their sheer cuteness.
The staff at mpig were wonderful and allowed me to get up close and personal with the pigs. I had the opportunity to feed them, and it was such a joy to see their excitement. As I held out the food, they approached me with their snouts, eagerly sniffing and nudging me, hoping for more treats. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and I couldn't help but laugh and shower them with affection.
What struck me the most was how social and intelligent these pigs were. They formed strong bonds with humans, and I felt an instant connection with them. It was as if they could understand my presence and were genuinely happy to interact with me. I spent hours observing their behaviors and personalities, and each pig had its own unique charm.
Watching them play was a highlight of my experience. They would frolic around, chasing each other and rolling in the mud with sheer joy. It was a delight to witness their energy and playful nature. I couldn't help but join in, running alongside them and laughing as they playfully bumped into me.
Being in the presence of these pigs was incredibly therapeutic. Their gentle and affectionate nature provided me with a sense of comfort and serenity. It was as if all my worries melted away in their presence, and I felt a deep connection with these amazing creatures.
My time at mpig was filled with cuteness, joy, and unforgettable moments. The pigs captured my heart with their adorable appearance and lovable personalities. I left with a renewed appreciation for these remarkable animals and a treasure trove of cherished memories.

It was an okay experience, but I wouldn’t return or recommend to any family or friends. If you choose a 30 min slot, it’s actually only 25 mins because they want you out of there once the timer hits 25 mins, if you need the toilet then that must be done within your 25 mins. It doesn’t state this clearly anywhere so I think this was disappointing. The pigs themselves are cute but a lot of them have bloody marks on their ears and body (presumably from fighting with other pigs), and if you’re a bit squeamish you won’t enjoy this. It’s a bit smelly and unkept in the room, and you have to put a used blanket on you, not a fresh one. Don’t wear any nice clothes here! The pigs tend to like to cuddle all together which means if you’re in a room with other people, the pigs can tend to flock all on one person and you can end up not having any pigs to sit with.

My wife, 2 little kids and I have been there for 90 minutes, we expected to meet the cute micro pigs with micro size. However, there are some pigs with normal size which their weight is over my 3 year-old kid. As there were some normal size pigs, it is better to reduce the number of them. It is because the area of the hall is quite small. Besides, it is so different from the cat cafe or dog cafe I have visited, guests there could not move freely. Once guests entered the hall, they will be arranged in a very small table with family or friends and covered by a pink blanket on knees, then just sat on the floor and waited the pigs to lie on the blanket, it is not good that everybody could not stand and walk anywhere except toilet. In fact, the real micro pigs are really cute but the normal size pigs made us a bit disappointed.

Absolute rip off!! We booked for 12.30 and arrived right on time, they then spent 5 minutes explaining the rules of which there are MANY, - some quite unreasonable. Then we're told our finish time is 12.55! Then we had to walk up 2 flights of scarily steep stairs where more rules were explained taking another 2 to 3 minutes. So we got less than 17 minutes but were charged for 30....the poor little pigs could barely walk on the slippery plastic tatami mats, I think these 'cafes' just use and abuse animals and should be banned, the only reason I went was my daughter wanted to. Wouldn't recommend at all. Side note, if you have mobility issues, the stairs are incredibly steep and narrow and you have to sit on the floor

This place was nasty and the pigs were not well maintained. The workers charged extra fee that was not informed and the pigs peed on my pants and the workers didnt help clean up until I asked multiple times. They dont allow take out of drinks saying we will litter the drinks, so everyone in my time slot left their drinks and nobody drank them. The workers are rude and not helpful. Dont recommend

They were incredibly cute.
I had no idea pigs could be so friendly.
There were pigs with all kinds of personalities, and their cries were full of expression, so it was fun.
The staff were also kind, and it was a great experience.
I'd like to come again.

I recently visited the pig cafe and had an amazing experience! The unique concept of combining a cafe with adorable pigs was both entertaining and heartwarming. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a delightful atmosphere. The highlight was interacting with the well-cared-for pigs, adding a special touch to the overall visit. I give it a solid 5 stars for its creativity, hospitality, and overall enjoyable experience.

This was the most amazing animal cafe experience! The pigs were so cute and friendly and it was a very intimate setting with only a small group of people allowed in. You have to order a drink in addition to the entry fee, but it is definitely worth it. I will definitely come back in the future!

How much is entry for the mipig cafe for two adults?
Written 26 April 2019
It is 800 yen per person for the 1st 1/2 hour and 500 yen per person for each additional 1/2 hour. We stayed for 1 hour which was a nice visit so our fee was 1300 yen each. You also have to order a 1 drink minimum per person. The drinks are 600 yen or so each.
