We came here as it was right next to Skytree. We were pleasantly surprised at the stylish design of the display at the very beginning, and found out that it is based on the Ghibli film that is out at the moment. We could really...More

When found this by surprise on the way to the Sky Tower and due to the cloudy weather chose to go here instead. Thankfully being a Monday it was not too crowded. The display were great, including the huge main tank with sharks and rays....More

This is a good aquarium. Very good collection of penguins , jelly fish and other fish. Costs about 2060 ¥. Right under the Skytree on 4th floor. Worth visiting when in area

I visited here after the slightly disappointing Skytree. Like everything in Tokyo, it is a little expensive and quite overcrowded. Small children will enjoy it however, but as it isn’t really that big, don’t expect to spend more than a couple of hours here at...More

Lots of regional fish from around the sea of Japan and nearby places. Nice jellyfish exhibit with a research focus. Worth the visit.

This aquarium was absolutely gorgeous. Very modern, a lot of nature and clean. The fishes were unique and beautiful to see but the penguins looked a bit sad to be in that space. The tickets are pricey but it’s fun to see different things

We stayed at Shinjuku and I wanted to check out Sunshine City out of curiosity for the anime theme area. We stopped the aquarium to check it out. The penguins exhibit is interesting and the indoor area to see the fishes was cool. But not...More
