We visited this temple one afternoon, it was incredibly peaceful and enjoyable to visit. There were hardly any other people so it was very relaxing.

This was on my list visit from some of the top shrines of Tokyo. Personally of all those shrines around the city that I went to come, this was my least favorite.

This was the only shrine I visited whilst in Japan. And even though I’m not a religious person, I did find it very spiritual and calming if that makes sense.

The shrine had a very peaceful feel to it and was nice to look around. There is a little room you can go in which tells you the history of the shrine and about General Nogi and his wife. I found it very interesting!

Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were
famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants,
bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of
Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the
area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot
to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art
Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art
